A different way of looking at health.
Most of us were taught to think about health in separate parts. Digestive symptoms go to one specialist. Hormone concerns go to another. Neurological symptoms go somewhere else. The goal is often to diagnose and treat what’s happening in front of you.
There is absolutely a time and place for that. Break a bone? Get in a car accident? Of course, take me to the hospital.
But what happens when symptoms don’t fit neatly into one box? When fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, pain, rage episodes, anxiety, skin changes, or neurological symptoms keep piling up and no one is looking at how they may connect?
That’s where my approach is different.
Functional health looks at the body as a whole because the body is always communicating. The gut talks to the brain. The immune system responds to the environment. The nervous system influences digestion and healing. Chronic infections, mold, nutrient deficiencies, stress, and other burdens can affect multiple systems at once.
This is why your story matters.
The repeated sore throats as a kid. The car accident in your twenties. Years of digestive issues. The stressful season you pushed through. The house where you never felt quite well. The infection you thought was long behind you.
It all matters.
No two people arrive here with the same story, environment, or stressors. I look at the full timeline, connect patterns that may have been treated as separate problems, and use comprehensive testing when it makes sense to better understand what may be keeping the body stuck.
You deserve more than a lifetime of managing symptoms. You deserve to understand your body, feel confident in the path forward, and get back to living a life that isn’t controlled by how you feel.
